HoloAVA | AR application
Our team has implemented a turnkey project.
The HoloAVA AR application is a unique mobile application for congratulations and just for fun. Congratulations on your 3D avatar available in Augmented Reality.
The user can simply take a selfie and create his own 3D avatar. A 3D avatar represents an exact copy of the user. The shape and texture of the head (including hair) and bodies unique to each person are synthesized using the deep learning algorithm. All calculations take place in the cloud, which does not load the user's mobile device. Bones are also added that allow you to create lively facial expressions and movements of the head and body. Animations of facial expressions (eyebrows, eyes, lips and other parts of the head) were formed by our animators taking into account facial anatomy.
The user can create their own text or choose from ready-made ones. Further, this text can be read out to record an audio message that will be superimposed on a 3D avatar. We nicknamed this effect "talking head" when the user gets an avatar that speaks in his voice. You can share this avatar in any convenient way with relatives, a colleague, and generally with anyone!
You can share a 3D avatar using a unique code that is generated on the server. To do this, the user needs to drive the code into the HoloAVA application, after which a congratulation with a 3D avatar is loaded, which can be viewed in augmented reality. To display the avatar on a plane in augmented reality, we used ARKit and ARCore technologies. These solutions limit the number of supported devices, but are themselves stable for displaying 3D models on a plane.
The application has many more features that are constantly added and updated. For example, the user can select a background on which the avatar will be displayed, this background is used for congratulations. Or, for example, a 3D platform was implemented in augmented reality, which creates an additional WoW effect.
This application is a good example of the application of AR technologies and neural networks, which can be used in education, entertainment and many other fields.
